We are pleased to offer laser surgery as a safe option for comfortable treatment. In many procedures, the laser can replace the scalpel and provide a better alternative to traditional surgery. If you would like more information regarding Laser surgery, please request one of our brochures or our Doctors would be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Pets have teeth too! Did you know that periodontal disease not only contributes to bad breath; it can also lead to very serious medical conditions. Central Pet Care includes a dental check-up with each preventative care exam. If a dental cleaning is recommended, our Doctors and technicians can provide your pet with a thorough scaling and polishing.
Central Pet Care recommends that your pet have Preventative Care Exams at least once a year along with age appropriate screenings and vaccinations. If your pet is seven or older we recommend Preventative Care Exams at least twice a year. This will allow you and the Doctors to notice subtle changes in your pet’s health more easily. Along with regular exams Central Pet Care Clinic recommends that your pet stay on heartworm preventative year round. Once a year testing should be done to ensure your pet is free from this parasite. It is also helpful to regularly apply flea and tick preventatives to help rid your pet of these irritating parasites. Ask any Central Pet Care Clinic representative to recommend the best product for your pet’s needs.
Central Pet Care has a variety of diets available for your pet specific needs. We have available in the hospital Science Diet and lams prescription diets. We recommend iVet diets for overall health and therapeutic needs.
Central Pet Care’s skilled Doctors are able to offer your pet several orthopedic surgery options. Central Pet Care’s advanced imaging diagnostics allows our Doctors to better diagnose orthopedic injuries and more.
Central Pet Care is able to offer you and your pet the comfort and convenience of an in house radiology department. Radiographs are able to be taken and interpreted while you are at the hospital, allowing us to provide you and your pet timely results and treatment.
Central Pet Care in-house diagnostic laboratory offers you and your pet results in minutes rather than days on most tests. Having an in-house lab also means we are able to offer more comprehensive screenings for our geriatric patients as well as pre-surgical screenings for our patients prior to surgery.
Keeping your pet current on their vaccinations is the first step to keeping them safe from contagious diseases. Ask our doctors or technicians which age appropriate vaccinations your pet needs to stay safe and healthy.
