Pets have teeth too! Did you know that periodontal disease not only contributes to bad breath; it can also lead to very serious medical conditions. Central Pet Care recommends that your pet have Preventative Care Exams at least once a year along with age appropriate screenings and vaccinations. If your pet is seven or older we recommend Preventative Care Exams at least twice a year. This will allow you and the Doctors to notice subtle changes in your pet’s health more easily. Along with regular exams Central Pet Care Clinic recommends that your pet stay on heartworm preventative year round. Once a year testing should be done to ensure your pet is free from this parasite. It is also helpful to regularly apply flea and tick preventatives to help rid your pet of these irritating parasites. Ask any Central Pet Care Clinic representative to recommend the best product for your pet’s needs.
Central Pet Care has a variety of diets available for your pet specific needs. We have available in the hospital Science Diet and lams prescription diets. We recommend iVet diets for overall health and therapeutic needs.
